My crafts

These are the crafts I made today.  The blouse is for babies who are new born to 3 mos.  And the booties are for babies who are newborn to 9 months.   Both are made from baby yarns and designed by me.

Wonderful neighbors

Something is not right with my add image icon. It just wouldn't open for me to add image. Anyways will try it later.
Talking about wonderful neighbors. On the left side of our home, the neighbors are Burmese. And they are the nicest people we ever met. Julia is a widower, but her life is full of activities. She goes to church on Sundays and she often has relatives staying with her. She has only a son who is still searching for his soulmate.
The other day, she came by to chat with me. And during the conversation, I mentioned that i am selling stuffs. She took a look and told me that she was looking for something for her soon to be born nephew and niece. And to my surprise, she ordered 2 pieces of cardigan for the babies.
I love it when people love my work. I am so thankful and happy that we could have this wonderful conversation.
Thank you nice neighbor, we appreciate you !

Birds song

This is another pillow i made for Eva. Hope she likes it.
For the past 2 days, the birds have been singing non stop outside my window. It is so beautiful to hear birds singing each morning. There are different songs that different birds sing. I wish I know how to identify each bird and song.
Love to hear them ! I thought birds only come out in the Spring to sing... well, guess they like the early morning cool breezes of the Summer.

Another bag

This is a bag that i had made today. Saw this pattern in a Japanese website.
Although i can't understand or read Japanese, I am blessed to be able to work on the piece just be looking at it.
So here it is a copy of the bag i saw.

These are the flowers I am making today. I love to make new stuffs all the time

Baby blanket

Here is another of the baby quilt that I have knitted the " make up as you go pattern".
This will be for a baby boy. Will it be for my own grandchild or someone's.....that is the question....just like the to be or not to be question.
Anyways, hope that some beautiful baby will be able to make use of this little blanket.

My models

These are my models. A 3 generation model family. Here they are showing the knitted jackets / shrugs that I have knitted. Aren't they beautiful? I mean both the models and the shrugs/jackets.

An exciting project

Recently I was given a task ...kind of a challenge... a good challenge.....
To make a pillow from scratch without instructions or directions.
It is exciting to take up this challenge. And was able to produce it as seen above.
I have never done anything of such design before, but the task to make this has made me a better or more accomplished person. The drive to accomplish it and then to see the result
is truly very satisfying.
I must admit that it is nothing close to the "ideal" pillow, but to see it completed, is reward enough for me.
Now i can learn to tackle anything with confident, and then have the patience to complete it.
